homelessness

Good Shepherd is committed to helping people who are homeless in Charlotte. We aim to meet the short-term and long-term housing and transitioning needs of locals through:

Short-Term Housing

We serve people who are homeless by providing a warm place to sleep and a warm meal on cold, winter night in a ministry called Room in the Inn. Room in the Inn happens every Friday evening and Saturday morning from December through April and teams serve once a month.

Long-Term Housing

We serve families working to escape the cycle of homelessness through a ministry called Charlotte Family Housing. The Charlotte Family Housing ServeTeams help to provide meals, training, care and skill-building for families on the verge of homelessness.
