How To Help

Good Shepherd's ministries and missions are still happening, though they look a bit different these days. We've identified a few ways our church family can help make an immediate impact both within the church AND in the local community.

How Can You Help Others?

We will continue to update this section as we identify and organize more ways to help our church and our community.

Handy with a sewing machine?

If you have homemade face masks you'd like to donate for the nursing home workers, we are accepting those as well. Please wash and put in a plastic bag prior to drop off.

Healthcare Professionals and First Responders

Write a generic note or card that will be given to a healthcare worker or first responder. We will collect fully wrapped non-perishable snacks to go along with the notes. No home-made or perishable items are allowed. They must be fully wrapped and individual sizes. We will be collecting cards and snacks via an outdoor no contact drop-off at the Moss Campus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 - 2PM. Some ideas are on this Amazon Wish List: Hero Wish List but we ask that food items are shipped to your homes due to our limited church office hours.

Samaritan’s Feet
Write a digital Hope Note that will be printed and delivered to local homeless shelters, nursing homes and school lunch locations. We invite you to write and submit a "Hope Note” on the Samaritan’s Feet website. Leave an encouraging message or joyful words, and they’ll make sure it goes to someone in need. Let’s use our voices to encourage!
