Good Shepherd's ministries and missions are still happening, though they look a bit different these days.

We've identified a few ways our church family can help make an immediate impact in our local community.

SERVE with our partners

Room In the Inn

Room in the Inn partners with local churches and organizations to house people struggling with homelessness in our community. Good Shepherd houses neighbors on Friday night/Saturday morning from December through March. To see all the ways to volunteer with this ministry, click here.


Nursing Home Bingo

Join us in blessing the residents of Mecklenburg Rehab with Bingo, socializing and prizes for all. We serve on the first Saturday of the month (holiday adjustments) from 9:45 AM – 11:30 AM at Mecklenburg Rehab on Sandy Porter Road. Sign up or find out more.


Samaritan’s Feet

Samaritan’s Feet Warehouse is back open for the usual 2nd Saturday Good Shepherd Serve Date. It is limited to 40 people (aged 12 and older) from 9:30 AM - 12 PM and masks required for non-vaccinated people and temperature check at entry for a safe environment. Dove's Nest Desserts

Provide desserts to bless the ladies at the Dove’s Nest recovery center. We provide homemade or store desserts on the first Wednesday of the month. Desserts are dropped off at Good Shepherd between 10 am – 12 pm. Sign up to serve on 11/3/21 and/or 12/1/21. Find out more.
