How To Help

Good Shepherd's ministries and missions are still happening, though they look a bit different these days. We've identified a few ways our church family can help make an immediate impact both within the church AND in the local community.

Nursing Home Bingo

Join us in blessing the residents of Mecklenburg Rehab with Bingo, socializing and prizes for all. We serve on the first Saturday of the month (holiday adjustments) from 9:45 AM – 11:30 AM at Mecklenburg Rehab on Sandy Porter Road. Sign up or find out more.

Samaritan’s Feet

Samaritan’s Feet Warehouse is back open for the usual 2nd Saturday Good Shepherd Serve Date. It is limited to 40 people (aged 12 and older) from 9:30 AM - 12 PM and masks required for non-vaccinated people and temperature check at entry for a safe environment. Please sign up on the Good Shepherd web site and you will receive further information. Note: August serving date is cancelled due to a warehouse move. Sign Up or Find Out More.

City-Wide Church Serving Day

Join churches all over the city on Saturday, October 9. You can choose to serve with Good Shepherd either at Samaritan's Feet (sorting shoes) or Lake Wylie Elementary (grounds clean up). Email Kristi Phillips for more info

  • Contact and manage neighborhood approval to place a Free Little Library in your community
  • We will provide the library and installation
  • Periodic inspection and stock a variety of books (Good Shepherd supplies the books)
