Who can attend summer camp?

All children who are rising Kindergarten through 8th grade are able to attend summer camp. (Children are assigned to groups according to their age.)


What is the cost?

Summer Camp cost $205 per week. Children can attend one week, two weeks, three weeks, or all four! There is a $50.00 per child registration fee payable by check to GSUMC. All campers will receive one camp t-shirt. Please indicate size on the registration form. 


When does summer camp happen?

Week 1: June 15-19 (includes Good Shepherd VBX experience!*)

Week 2: June 22-26

CLOSED - Weeks of June 29 and July 6

Week 3: July 13-17

Week 4: July 20-24


Summer Camp is from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. Summer Camp is at our Moss Campus location only. 

*Do not register your child for VBX. Your summer camp registration automatically registers each child. 

What happens at summer camp?

Campers participate in lots of activities like swimming, recreation, large group games, praise & worship, arts & crafts and small group fellowship. Weekly off-campus trips around the Charlotte area may include Ray's Splash Planet,  Stowe Dairy Farm, Schiele Museum and other neighborhood parks and splash pads.

How do I register?

Complete the online application and Liability Release form below and bring your EFT form to the Afterschool office. EFT form can be scanned and emailed to Call the Afterschool office if you have any questions at 704.817.5807.
